Great week at Charlotte BR & C

The resort is older but well kept. The unit had been refurbished with new furniture and paint. The bathroom had not been updated but it was fine. NO ISSUES. Pet-Friendly and only a $50 charge for the week! Great pool! Great location across from a park on the bay!

Great place to unwind!

Loved our visit, unit is very roomy, well stocked, great staff & checkin. Older resort but very clean and comfortable. This week was exactly what we needed after a very busy year. The pool and hot tub was great & one of the highlights of our trip. We liked the fact that the resort was small and very intimate!

Vacation spot

Laid back condo in good location. Friendly staff. Love the location across from the bay. Shopping of all sorts. You have to drive a little ways to beaches. Pool and hot tub are nice. I will look forward to visiting again.

Nice Base To See Area

CBR was a nice place across from a beautiful park situated right on the bay. We enjoyed the amenities, the pool, the hot tub and grill. It was also a great base from which to discover the beautiful area.

Family vacation including pets

It is very difficult to find places during this pandemic. It is even more difficult to find pet friendly locations. Charlotte Bay Resort was very accommodating and allowed us to travel with our German Shepherd and Cockatoo. They do charge $50.00 per pet but I would have to pay boarding elsewhere with stress put on my pets.

Lovely Spot

Enjoyed this small quiet timeshare and the location across from the park and the bay was excellent, very close to everything, yet off the beaten track. The staff (just one person that we saw) was very helpful. Will definitely go back for another visit.

A Great Place

I was a bit apprehensive when I read reviews concerning the resort was old, needing remodeling etc. we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Yes it’s an older resort, however the resort is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The grounds are very nice. Your car is parked under covered parking, so those evening rains won’t be an issue. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The room itself was very comfortable. It has everything you need. The furnishings are older yes but comfortable. The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage. The balcony is screened so you can sit out without bugs getting you. If you need modern furnishings and hi end resort extras then you may be disappointed, but if you want clean; comfortable, a quiet community and can care a less about fancy then you will be happy here. There is a park across the street that has two piers to view the most beautiful sunsets from. A very nice playground for children is also over there, and sidewalks to ride bikes. You are less then a hour from Venice beach, Siesta Keys, Fort Myers and Sanibel Island. Thank you Charlotte Bay for a wonderful stay.

Small, quiet resort

This resort is located across from the Peace River in Port Charlotte, FL and only 40 minute drive from Fort Myers airport. I like it because it's small, quiet, and has a nice pool. Very friendly staff.

Our first vacation there.

The only real complaint is that there is no TV in the second bedroom. There is a nice recliner in the living room which you never see in a rental. It's like a family owned rental which is nice to see. Needs some updating but was very nice.

Great Vacation

We have been staying here on and off for about 20 years. We have family in the area and this is a great place for us to get together. We needed a slow cooker and they had one for us to use. Also they have DVD movies for you to use. Most movies are old but they are free.And you can't beat free.

Lovely stay

This is a quieter resort. The grounds are kept beautiful. We spent most of our time at the pool, with gas grills, and outdoor billiards. The kids loved the vacation. The office has many dvds to borrow. We would stay here again.
